These Calipers are not designed for comfort, they are designed to work!
The Calipers included in this kit are 4 Piston made by AP Racing. They are extremely light weight at 2.54kg each. The piston sizes are matched extremely well to provide a pedal feel that is just like OEM.
The caliper carriers are made from high strength zinc coated steel. The supplied front brake lines have been made to our specifications by HEL Performance, which include stainless steel fittings and are finished in their carbon black sheathing. The 2 piece brake discs are assembled with outer rotors made by AP Racing which are of the highest quality cast iron and come in an 8 groove pattern. Matched with our lightweight aluminium bells finished anodised in black, this brake disc setup is a floating 2 piece assembly and the float is in the disc bell rather than the disc. Lastly the fitting kit includes bolts that are high tensile M10x1.25 coupled with quality spring washers.
*Our unique bracket design will allow this kit to use a 323x28mm Single piece Leon Cupra R Mk1 brake disc. All you need to do is remove the alloy bracket spacer and use the supplied shorter bolts.
Important Note:
Due to the fact that this caliper is designed for racing, the absence of dust seals means these Calipers will need regular maintenance
