VBT Front Brake Kit for Race Use compromising the AP Racing Pro Sport 4 Piston calipers.
Caliper Specification:
- Forged, two piece aluminium alloy body.
- Radial mount, 152.0mm x 48.79mm centres.
- Stainless Steel Pistons. - High temperature seals.
- 4lb Anti-knockback springs fitted.
- Stainless Steel wear plates.
As these calipers are for race use, they do not have pad retention springs so brake pads will chatter. They also don't use dirt seals on the pistons so require regular cleaning and maintenance.
This kit uses a 323x28mm brake discs as found on a MK1 Seat Leon Cupra R. These are a high carbon single cast disc with either hooked groove pattern or 8 straight grooves.
The brackets we supply with this kit are zinc coated, high quality carbon steel combined with suitable high tensile steel socket head bolts. We also include a 10mm 6082 alloy spacer with extended bolts so you can upgrade to a 2-pc floating AP Racing disc with VBT bell (part# RDA0035R-CG8)
a Pair of HEL Performance custom made braided hoses are included with only brake pads, to suit your driving style and application, and suitable brake fluid to choose.
